Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy is strict. HyperVertual sells instant-access digital subscriptions. Please read it before you pay. By completing checkout you acknowledge that performance of the digital service begins immediately.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use online software for a billing period. You are not buying a physical good, downloadable boxed product, tutoring hours, or an exam result. Delivery is immediate: paid features unlock on successful payment.

2. Cooling-off / withdrawal

Where consumer law gives you a withdrawal right for digital content, you request that performance begin immediately when you subscribe. Once we have fully provided the digital service (account upgraded and features enabled), that withdrawal right ends to the extent the law allows. If a mandatory local cooling-off right cannot be waived, we will honour it when you have not used paid AI or exam-coach features and you write to info@hypervertual.com within the statutory period.

3. Limited first-purchase refund (goodwill)

For a first-time Pro or Team subscription only, you may request a refund within 7 days of the original charge if all of the following are true:

• you email info@hypervertual.com from the account email with the Stripe receipt;
• you have not used Exam Coach;
• you have not generated substantial AI rewrites (we treat more than trivial testing as use);
• you have not already received a refund from us;
• the payment is not already subject to a chargeback or dispute.

If approved, we refund the original payment method and revoke paid access immediately.

4. What is never refunded

• Renewals, upgrades, or subsequent billing periods
• Partial / unused time in a period (“I only used one week”)
• Change of mind after using paid features
• Exam results, grades, or “the AI was wrong”
• Failure to cancel before renewal
• Duplicate accounts, shared accounts, or accounts created with false information
• Taxes, FX fees, or bank charges
• Free-plan usage (there is no charge)

5. How to cancel (not a refund)

Use Billing → Cancel, or email info@hypervertual.com. You will not be charged again. Access continues until period end. We do not prorate.

6. Chargebacks

Contact us first. An unjustified chargeback is a breach of the Terms. We will present proof of digital delivery and checkout consent to the bank. We may suspend the account and refuse future service. Confirmed fraud is reported.

7. Errors and duplicate charges

If we billed you twice in error, we will refund the duplicate in full after verification. Report it within 14 days.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We do not refund to a different card or in cash.
